POTTERY CLASSES

Welcome to our pottery classes! We’re thrilled that you’re interested in exploring the art of clay. Our offerings include four- and eight-week courses designed to inspire creativity and develop your skills. Classes are small and they fill up quickly—reserve your spot early.   Need to change plans? You can cancel up to 10 days in advance for a full refund. Please note, our classes are exclusively for adult learners. We can't wait to create with you!

Shaping Pottery
Quick Wheel for Beginners $195

This two week class is for students new to clay and those needing a refresher in wheel throwing.  This focused class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays for two weeks.  Make up to four pieces.  You can sign up for an optional fifth class to glaze your work or have it glazed by your instructor.  All materials included. Maximum 7. 

Tuesday and Thursdays evening classes from 6:30 - 8:30

Just Plates $195

Throwing and trimming plates require a few techniques to keep them from cracking.  In this session you will learn how to use different tools and bats  to help you be successful.  All materials are included.  You will be able to make up to 4 pieces.

Intro to Wheel $195

This is a four week wheel throwing class for beginners. Classes are once a week for two hours. Each class is limited to seven participants so you will get personal instruction. You will learn to center, create bowls and cylinders, practice trimming and glaze your finished pieces. You can make up to four pieces. All materials and firing included. Maximum 7. Evening classes from 6:30 - 8:30

Clay Creations $195

This class will instruct anyone new to clay on how to make functional objects without the wheel. This four week class will have three projects where you learn hand forming techniques and surface decorations. All materials included. Evening classes from 6:30 - 8:30

Level One - Supervised Studio Access $250

Supervised Studio Access is for those who want to work on their own clay projects with full access to all studio equipment and glazes. You will have an instructor available during your time to answer your questions. Use the eight weeks to practice on the wheel or build your own projects.  Best if you have taken a few classes and are self directed. This is not for beginners. All glaze and firing provided. Reclaim clay available for $10 a bag.

Clay Hands
Plate Cup Bowl $345

This class is for those who want to stretch their wheel throwing skills and make two complete place settings. During this eight week course, you will spend two sessions on each form. Best if you have had Intro to Wheel. All materials are included. Evening classes from 6:30 - 8:30

Intro to Pottery Studio $350

Intro to Pottery Studio is ideal for people new to clay or have some experience who want to try a little bit of everything.  You will have demonstrations on both hand building and wheel throwing techniques with plenty of time to work on your projects.  You instructor will guide you throughout each session.  All glaze and firing provided. Reclaim clay available for $10 a bag.
